The work of Active Essex includes supporting Find Your Active Thurrock which is a community activity network with representatives from Active Essex, Thurrock Council and local organisations within the statutory, voluntary and private sectors. Thurrock is also part of the London commuter belt and an area of regeneration within the Thames Gateway redevelopment zone.
